National Museums Of South Thailand
The major Thailand National Museums to visit concerning Southern Thailand are:-
National Museum Bangkok for its excellent collection of Srivijaya
art, and Indian art from the south.

National Museum Nakhon Si Thammarat for its Indianisation and
Srivijaya art but also for its detailed collection of art and artefacts
relevant to the upper South of Thailand. This is a regional Museum of
the upper southern area of Thailand with a comprehensive exhibition of
prehistoric objects, ancient art objects including deity objects and
art for the Hindu and Buddhist religions, ancient objects of daily life
and imported artifacts such as ceramics from China and Vietnam.

Wat Phra Mahathat Museum, Chaiya. This museum contains
archeological objects, stone and bronze statues collected in Chaiya. It
is also now home for and a Mahoratuek bronze frog drum from China (2,000 years old) found at Ko Samui.
