Lam Nam Nan National Park comprises 999 square
kilometers and covers mountain terrain in Mueang, Phrae, Tha Pla and Nam Pat in Uttaradit Province.

The
geography of the park is steep
mountains running north to south. The area is a water catchment for the Sirikit Dam. The highest elevation is Phu (Mount) haya Pho at 1,350 meters above sea level.
- The vegetation ecosystems are Mixed Deciduous Forest, Deciduous Dipterocarp Forest, and Dry Evergreen Forest.
- The animal wildlife includes Asiatic Bear, Palm Civet, Porcupine, Sambar Deer, Macaque, Malayan Sun Beer and Fishing Cat.
