Nanthaburi National Park comprises 877 square
kilometers and covers mountain terrain in Muang, Tha Wang Pha and Ban Luang in Nan Province west and northwest of Nan City.

The
geography of the park is rugged
mountains running north to south ranging in elevation from 300 meters
to the highest elevation being 1,674 meters at Doi Wow Mountain.

vegetation ecosystems are Mixed Deciduous Forest, Deciduous Dipterocarp and Dry Evergreen Forest.
- The animal species to be seen here include, Sambar Deer, Macaque, Asian Bear, Siamese Hare and Common Muntjack.
