Doi Luang National Park Chiang Rai

Doi (Mount) Luang National Park comprises 1,170 square
kilometers and covers mountain terrain in the convergence of Lampang Province, Phayao Province and Chiang Rai Province. This Park dominates the landscape to the west from Phayao Town to Chiang Rai.

geography of the park is
mountains running north to south. The highest elevation is Doi Luang at 1,690 meters. At this point on the mountain road pass from Phayao City to Chiang Mai it offers an excellent view of below.

vegetation ecosystems are Mixed Deciduous Forest, Deciduous Dipterocarp
Forest, and Evergreen Forest.
- The animal species to be seen here include, Tiger, Malayan Flying Lemur, Macaque, Civets, Palm Civet, Asian Bear and Common Muntjack.
