Khao Nam Khang National Park is located in the very south of South Thailand on the Malaysia border with Thailand as indicated on the map opposite. It comprises an area of 212 square kilometers in Na Thawi and Sadao Districts of Songkhla Province.

geography is rugged mountains with the highest elevation of 710 meters above sea level at Mount Khao Nam Khang.
- The vegetation ecosystem is mainly tropical rain forest.
- The mammal wildlife includes Gibbon, Tiger, Malayan Tapir, Sambar Deer, Mouse Deer, Porcupine, Common Munjak, Langur, Macaque, Wild Boar, Panther, Palm Civet and Malayan Sun Bear.
