- Doi Khun Tan National Park comprises 256 square
kilometers and covers mountain terrain in Mae Tha in Lamphun Province and Hang Chat and Mueang in Lampang Province.
- The geography of the park is rugged
mountains with the highest elevation being 1,373 meters at Mount [ Doi ] Khun Tan.
- The vegetation ecosystems are Mixed Deciduous Forest and Pine Forest above 700 meters and Moist Evergreen Forest Hill Evergreen Forest above 1,000 meters.
- The Park is the watershed for the Rivers, Mae Tan and Mae Tha.
- The
animals species to be seen here include,
Sanbar Deer, Macaques, Langur, Porcupine, Macaque, Squirrels, Wild Bore and Common
Muntjack.
