Nam Tok Yong National Park Nakhon Si Thammarat
- Namtok Yong National Park is the Nakhon Si Thammarat Ranges in Lan Saka, Ron Phipun, King Chang Klang, Na Bon and Thung Song Districts of Nakhon Si Thammarat Province South Thailand.
Namtok Yong has an average elevation of 600 meters above sea level. The main mountains in the National Park are Khao Phra, Khao Luang, Khao Men, Khao Wang Hip and Khao Thang.
- The geography of the Park is 205 square kilometers of rugged mountainous tropical forest. This is a watershed region receiving both monsoons to ensure constant rain.
- The vegetation is Hill Evergreen Forest above 1,000 meters and the rest is Tropical Evergreen Forest. The vegeatation is lush with ferns and some 300 orchid species.
- Khao Luang is home to over 327 animal species. The major species are Pig Tailed Macaque, Clouded Leopard, Gibbon, Common Munjak, Malayan Tapir, Serow, Bush Tailed Porcupine, Malayan Sun Beer, Tiger, Panther and Dusky Langur.
