Wat Phra Ram Ayutthaya Historical Park

• Wat Phra Ram lies to the east of the Royal Palace, and is situated in an attractive garden setting with a lotus filled pond. The building of this Wat was commenced in 1369 A.D. with various had new buildings added during different reigns, including a large-scale renovation in 1741 A.D. 
  
• A large prang (of the early period) is the central landmark, with a cloister containing rows of stone images of Buddha. Other structures still remaining such as chedi of various styles reflect a later style.
